By the end of the topic, students not only will be able to talk about what they do at break, but also they will be able to talk about what they do in lessons. A nice thing to do if you have curriculum time for it.
Ppt starts introducing a range of phrases to talk about what you do at break, a reading activity, listening from the book, speaking and finally a closing writing paragraph. Then, vocab is introduced for things you do in class, many of them recycled from Module 2 (Viva 1). It contains a range of activities to practise all skills, vocab tests and homework ideas. There are some present tense (regular) verbs activities as well to provide some extra practice.

Lesson I created specifically to get my GCSE students to be able to write and talk about an ideal holiday using the conditional form of verbs, but that could be used with any able year group.
Materials included: a detailed lesson plan, ppt presentation with grammar activities + activities to cover all 4 skills plus a pdf differentiated booklet I created to give to the students to help themselves build their language according to their ability.
Lesson devised to be able to talk about what there is and there isn´t in your city or town.
It includes PLENTY of activities introducing places in town: a lesson plan, an extended and differentiated reading, speaking activities including quiz-quiz trade to test AfL, writing activities with peer assessment, etc. I used with my top set Year 9 group but it can be easily adapted to any abilty.
A very complete lesson based on the Mira 2 textbook, unit 1.4 “Mi rutina diaria”, containing a range of different activities to do with your class (50 slides), not only following the textbook, but offering a range of complimentary activities and extra vocabulary to stretch the most able. 2 vocab tests, board game, reading and grammar worksheets included in the pack.
